 Nearing completion: Exterior progress 1 In mid-August the structure was closed in when windows and sliding glass doors arrived and were installed. top  Nearing completion: Exterior progress 2 The black flashing detail covers the waterproof membrane providing a weatherproof barrier for the connection between containers. top  Nearing completion: Exterior progress 3The balcony frames were craned into place with the railing posts welded on and rust proof paint already in position. The steel panels make up the pans that the concrete finish is poured onto. The balconies are ready now for the chain link railings. top  Nearing completion: Interior progress 1 The interior in late August showing the framework that supports the wiring, plumbing, insulation and wall finish. top  Nearing completion: Interior progress 2 The spray-foam insulation is a more expensive way to insulate than traditional fiberglass insulation batts, but it is a necessary technology to reduce the thickness of the wall assembly.
