![]() 1-LEGO SHIPPING CABIN The Shipping Cabin (2004) is an early single container concept vacation cabin ready to be located in the wilderness quickly and easily. Mitch's Lego model is a little modified, but I was very impressed to see the general concept still intact. top ![]() 2-LEGO SIDExSIDE CABIN The Side x Side Cabin (2005) is an easily securable concept where 2-20 foot containers transform into a weekend get away. The simplicity of the concept translated very nicely into a Lego model. top ![]() 3-LEGO FLW CONTAINER HOUSE The FLW Container House (2004) is easily one of the most popular designs. Surely worthy of being memorialized in Lego. top ![]() 4-LEGO FLW CONTAINER HOUSE The concept was an effort to demonstrate the flexibility of container architecture. Mitch's Lego adaptation shows the main floor's living/dining/kitchen area are nice and open with 2 bedrooms overlooking the front yard. top ![]() 5-LEGO FLW CONTAINER HOUSE This design is an homage to the Usonian style of Architecture created by Frank Lloyd Wright (FLW). The master bedroom suite and den area make up the entire upper floor plan. top ![]() 6-LEGO FLW CONTAINER HOUSE Some of the striking features of the FLW Container House design is the broad overhangs, roof top deck and glazed walls. I really like Mitch's use of colored Lego blocks to depict the individual shipping containers. top ![]() 7-LEGO FLW CONTAINER HOUSE The upper and lower levels of the FLW Container House have great views of the rear yard. The Lego model has a great glazed wall feeling. top ![]() 8-LEGO FLW CONTAINER HOUSE The FLW Container House continues to be one of the most popular designs. Stay tuned to this website for details on when plans for this concept will become available. As for Lego model plans ... you'll have to contact Mitch about them. Thanks for all your show of support and all the photos Mitch! top |
